Call of Duty XP Attendees get free Modern Warfare 3 Hardened Edition!
More information continues to come out regarding Call of Duty: XP. To help justify the hefty $150 ticket price, all attendees will receive a copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3‘s Hardened Edition for free when the game is released. While no details have been released about what it contains, it will probably be an $80 value, which is a huge incentive to make it to the event. The Hardened editions for the last couple games didn’t contain too much, but they came with some cool extras that anyone can enjoy, especially when they are getting it for free along with access to XP.
Call of Duty: Black ops Map pack 4 leaked!
Game Australia put up a page detailing the next map pack, to be Released in early September. It is called "Retaliation". The blog was up for 20 minutes before Activision quickly took the page down. The pack containes 4 maps and 1 zombie map, again. These new maps include:
Mansion: takes place in Castro's secret compound in Cuba.
Cargo: takes place in an frozen shipping center in Greenland.
Metro: takes place in an urban city in Vietnam.
Harbor: takes place in an abandoned shipyard in America.
The map pack will also include a new Zombies map titled Quarantine, set in Navada, previously knows as Area 51, the highly controversial military base in Nevada

PSN restored
Late last night PSN was restored. It is at phase 1. Phase 1 contains muliplayer, friends, chat, messages and 3rd party programs like netflix. phase 2 will most likely contain the playstion store, as that is still down. To play again, you must update your PS3 to V3.6.1 Happy gaming!
