The BAFTAs proved last night to be disappointing for the makers of Modern Warfare 3, with the game not winning any of the categories it was nominated for, losing out on "Online Multiplayer" and "Game Award of 2011", an award based on a public vote historically given to Call of Duty titles, to rival EA's Battlefield 3.

Markus "Notch" Persson, founder of Minecraft developer Mojang, was also awarded "The Special Award."
