Congress is considering passing a bill that could shut down gaming videos and streams on Youtube. It's called Bill S.978. This bill would shut down channels like machinima and other gaming channels all over the internet, also Call of Duty videos! If the bill is approved, all videos on youtube about games and video editors tutorials and will be erased. After that, if someone post a video related to gaming, the video will be erased, the channel blocked and the user can be jailed for five years(in the USA), even if you post a video of your friends singing karaoke if the song is copyrighted.
UPDATE: I found out that the bill only applies on illegal streaming of copyrighted content.
