This year’s Call of Duty hasn’t been officially announced yet, but that hasn’t stopped the rumors and “leaks” from hitting the internet. Retailers have listed the game on accident and tons of (possibly fake) multiplayer information spread quickly across various media outlets. Now, we’ve been given what is being claimed as the official logo for Black Ops 2 as well as a release date for the reveal trailer.
The leaked screen shot of the game’s logo was posted early Saturday morning and quickly removed by Activision. Under the logo was the date “4/28/12” and is presumably the launch date for the game’s first trailer/teaser (given the legitimacy of the image.)
With April 28th not too far off, we won’t have to wait too long to find out whether the information is right or wrong.[1]
