Findmakarov.com was in fact made by a Toronto-based “creative collective” called We Can Pretend
Earlier this week we reported that a Modern Warfare 3 viral website similar to GKNOVA6 had shown up online. Sadly the site was in fact made by a Toronto-based “creative collective” called We Can Pretend that is working on a project “inspired by Call of Duty” that is supposed to launch on March 2, when the countdown ends.
We Can Pretend appears to be closely tied to VVO Media, the group that mailed out the mysterious dog tags that started this whole conspiracy. On VVO's now-defunct portfolio page, it also takes credit for marketing two We Can Pretend created videos, Doritos Tablet and Wateraid.
So after all of this we're still waiting for an official reveal of Modern Warfare 3 but we'll still be getting a fan made Call of Duty item from We can pretend to tide us over until then.
