Recently, I've read MLGisnot4me's post on why he hates Black Ops and "100 thing I hate about Black Ops" and read the hate comments about Treyarch. I've made this post to tell you guys that 3arc isn't as bad as every one says it is.
Lets look at the pros and cons of their games
CoD3:
Pros:
VEHICLES IN MULTIPLAYER!!!!!
Semi destructible environments in campaign
A good variety of vehicle and weapons for a console game
Cons:
Cutscenes that you can't skip get annoying after a while
No blood
Semi crappy graphics
................. World a War:
Pros:
EPIC campaign!
Tanks in multiplayer
Realistic blood and gore
A more realistic war experience than precious CoD games
Nazi Zombies, need I say more
Cons:
Some anachronisms (King Tiger tanks in 1942, 1944 version type 100 in '42)
British campaign cut :(
Some guns have incorrect firing rates (MG42 fires at 1200 RPM, not 937 RPM)
Japanese vs American tanks cut from multiplayer
No Volkssturm in Berlin ......................... Overall, World At War is Treyarchs finest work ...................
And now, Black Ops
Pros:
More customizations in MP
More zombies
Your character actually talks during campaign
Quick revive actually revives you in single player zombies
You can see your characters body when they're sitting down
And now for the cons:
Crappy weapons in zombies compared to WaW
Anachronistic weapons
Overused lines "the numbers, Mason..."
Only one campaign
RC-XD
Overpowered guns in MP (you know the ones I'm talking about!)
The list goes on and on, but that doesn't mean I completely hate Treyarch! I happened to really like World At War and Zombies! Those are Treyarchs best creations. Also I think that they made Black ops for all those freakin 10 year olds who now make up most of the fan base! And no, I'm not one of them!
While Treyarch may have made SOME bad games, that doesn't give you a reason to totally hate them. I hope you Treyarch haters out there get my point!
Pictured here is the CoD Paradox!
