Sandman MW3 Welcome Template

Hello MK 12 DIVISION, and welcome to the Call of Duty Wiki! Thanks for your contributions. We hope you'll stick around to make even more!

Have you created your user page yet? It's your own personal page, and you can do anything you want with it! Your user page will also help us get to know you as an editor better.

Here are some links that you may find helpful:

  • Recent changes provides you with a list of pages that other users are currently editing, which might give you an idea of where you can help out.
  • The help pages are a resource for you to use if you are new to wikis or need a guide for editing.
  • The forums are a good place to ask any questions you may have, or start your own discussion.
  • The Call of Duty Wiki's policies and guidelines are some rules for you to follow, and will also help you make better contributions.

Still have questions? Feel free to ask me or contact another administrator. Sysops' names are highlighted in green and bureaucrats' names are highlighted in cyan.

We hope you enjoy editing here, and look forward to seeing you around!

VandalismEdit

Welcome to the Call of Duty Wiki. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions here, at least one of your recent edits did not appear to be constructive, and has been reverted. Vandalism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Removing information from articles
  • Spamming articles
  • Adding inappropriate/rude/offensive comments/pictures to articles
  • Creating spam pages
  • Uploading offensive/rude images
  • Adding incorrect information to articles multiple times
  • Undoing perfectly good edits
  • Renaming pages to incorrect/inappropriate names

Please use the sandbox for any non-mischievous test edits you would like to make, and it is strongly recommended to read the policy page to learn more about contributing constructively to this wiki and knowing what is and what is not allowed. If you continue vandalizing, you will be subject to a block. Remember that all vandalism can be undone within a few seconds. Thank you.

WarringEdit

Please stop undoing other users correct edits, and continuously feuding back in forth with them immediately or you will be blocked. Thank you. Redskin-26 00:06, March 26, 2012 (UTC)

Block Edit

Wiki
Due to your unacceptable behavior, you have been blocked for 3 days. You are welcome to come back and edit sensibly after the block is up, however it is very strongly advised that you read and review our policies thoroughly before you start to edit again. If you believe your block is unfair you can leave a message on this page and an administrator will consider it.

Any more unacceptable behavior and another block will be issued. Thank you.

ridiculous amount of edit warring.Redskin-26 00:10, March 26, 2012 (UTC)

No, the block was meant for you, not only where you edits incorrect (in ever manner possible) but you continued to add them after you where told to stop, if you are caught doing this again, you will be blocked once more, for a longer period of time, and by the way, calling this users "morons" is a direct violation of the User Treatment Policy and if it continues could also lead to a block. Thanks. Redskin-26 02:17, April 6, 2012 (UTC)

Trolling Edit

A blog post or discussion comment you recently made was deleted because it was considered trolling. Trolling can include, but is not limited to:
Call of Duty Wiki logo warning template

  • Calling out other users
  • Flaming other users/starting flame wars
  • Posting off topic information
  • Writing a comment that doesn't conform to Wiki policies

Please read the policies in order to brush up on the style and professionalism that is expected on this wiki.
You are still free to make posts; however, please make sure they are up to standards!
Thanks!

While your free and entitled to your opinion, simply calling the blog "stupid" wasn't exactly polite. Editing your comment to say "This... makes no sense... it doesn't at least to smart people." wasn't particularly nice either. KUDLq.png 02:04, April 18, 2012 (UTC)

Hi Edit

A user recently found this http://callofduty.wikia.com/index.php?title=Strike_Chain&action=historysubmit&diff=1450075&oldid=1449982, an incorrect edit made by you. I'm sure this was a mistake though right? As it is common knowledge that the MOAB is obtainable with all strike packages. KUDLq.png 23:43, April 25, 2012 (UTC)

Re Edit

That's not whats important, without any official source listing it as a "Lever action rifle" we must leave it as a "Gun" to avoid speculation and possibly even IRL. KUDLq.png 01:17, May 4, 2012 (UTC)

Then just call it a "A gun that appears Lever-action" because I know it's lever-action and if you saw the picture you would know too.MK 12 DIVISION 01:20, May 4, 2012 (UTC)

I've seen the picture, I'm the one who uploaded it to the wiki. YOU are not a SOURCE. KUDLq.png 01:21, May 4, 2012 (UTC)

Uhh... huh...right... MK 12 DIVISION 01:23, May 4, 2012 (UTC)

I suggest you read the editing policies before you start being rude about things. KUDLq.png 01:26, May 4, 2012 (UTC)

Already did. MK 12 DIVISION 01:29, May 4, 2012 (UTC)

I'm sure. KUDLq.png 01:30, May 4, 2012 (UTC)

Undoing Edit

No Real Life InfoEdit

Hi, and welcome to the Call of Duty Wiki! There's a lot to do around here.
We really appreciate your contributions here, but we have a no IRL, or no "In Real Life" policy. IRL pictures are also not allowed in articles but they are allowed for personal use.
If you have any concerns feel free to ask at the Help desk or on the "discussion" page associated with each article, or post a message on my talk page! Also, please review our policies so that you understand them completely to avoid any future mistakes.
If you have any other questions, feel free to contact an administrator for help. Sysops names are represented in green and bureaucrats names are represented in cyan. Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything!

Don't delete discussions Edit

Hello, MK 12 DIVISION. It has come to my attention that you have recently deleted part or all of the text on a talk page, that was not vandalism. This is a violation of one the policies on the wiki, seen here, in which you can not delete discussions from a talk page with exception of obvious vandalism, flaming, or spam. If you would like to archive your talk page, please ask an administrator. If you continue to delete discussions off talk pages, you will eventually be subject to a block. Thank you for understanding, have a nice day!

Edits Edit

If its a case of bad grammar but good information, don't delete the entire paragraph, just clean it up. Even if the sentence did refer to a "Claymore Detonator" the rest of the statement is true and doesn't need to be wholly deleted. KUDLq.png 01:26, June 17, 2012 (UTC)
