Welcome to the wiki!

Hello UndergroundLemmy, and welcome to the Call of Duty Wiki! Thanks for your contributions. We hope you'll stick around to make even more!

Have you created your user page yet? It's your own personal page, and you can do anything you want with it! Your user page will also help us get to know you as an editor better. However, it also has some rules you should know about, so don't just start posting everything!

Here are some links that you may find helpful:

  • Recent changes provide you with a list of pages that other users are currently editing, which might give you an idea of where you can help out.
  • The help pages are a resource for you to use if you are new to wikis or need a guide for editing.
  • The forums are a good place to ask any questions you may have, or start your own discussion.
  • The Call of Duty Wiki's policies and guidelines are some rules for you to follow, and will also help you make better contributions.

Still have questions? Feel free to ask me or contact another administrator. Sysops' names are highlighted in green and bureaucrats' names are highlighted in cyan. When leaving a message, leave ~~~~ at the end of your post so we can recognize you.

We hope you enjoy editing here, and look forward to seeing you around!

Don't delete discussions

Hello, UndergroundLemmy. It has come to my attention that you have recently deleted part or all of the text on a talk page, that was not vandalism. This is a violation of one the policies on the wiki, seen here, in which you can not delete discussions from a talk page with exception of obvious vandalism, flaming, or spam. If you would like to archive your talk page, please ask an administrator. If you continue to delete discussions off talk pages, you will eventually be subject to a block. Thank you for understanding, have a nice day!

This counts even for your banned account. Twig (Talk) wNJ2zkL.png 23:43, January 8, 2019 (UTC)

Recent Mass deletions on Discussions

Can you please not just go and blank EVERYTHING you posted then deleting it after. It's basically a violation of COD:DDD. Twig (Talk) wNJ2zkL.png 08:12, October 5, 2019 (UTC)

I am deleting old minor/meaningless replies to opinion/poll posts. ( such as replies to what is your favorite cod, gun, zombie map & etc.) They do not conflict with the reasons to keep them up/archived

UndergroundLemmy (talk) 09:05, October 5, 2019 (UTC)

They do however fall under COD:DDD if they have violated rules. Which some have. You don't just get to decide to purge it because you can. Twig (Talk) wNJ2zkL.png 09:40, October 5, 2019 (UTC)
Just being "old minor/meaningless replies" doesn't make COD:DDD suddenly not apply, especially when you edit the old replies to blank them first. Abusing your global mod powers to try and purge your old content will not fly. 9G3sis0.pngRaven's wing Talk10:09, October 5, 2019 (UTC)
I have not violated the COD Fandom wiki rules. The one thing that remotely comes to mind is the Block post on my talk page. It says i was blocked for 3 days on May 20, 2017 for unsensible edits, however my profile shows i did not begin editing until December 21st, 2018. My guess it is a error on the part of local staff. That and accidentally using a incorrect category a few times in all the years i have been apart of this wiki.

As for "abusing" my GDM "powers": I am deleting old posts and replies of the following nature: polls, opinions, looking for players and/or top x lists for person, place or thing in COD.

COD:DDD States: "Keeping old discussions may prevent the same debate from happening repeatedly." This does not apply in this case as i have never had a dispute/flame war with another user over a matter on this wiki.

COD:DDD Also states: "Providing a record of a user's actions and discussions with other users. Although it is possible to view the page history, it is much easier to look over a discussion" I assume it means in part to archive past issues one may have had with another user in case another arises. In such case am not deleting posts/replies that show a violation of the guidelines because none exist. I have no past negative interactions with anyone. There is no abuse of power here or attempt to hide anything bad.

So it's just a coincidence that all the posts you've blanked and deleted were made by you? 9G3sis0.pngRaven's wing Talk12:18, October 5, 2019 (UTC)
