The VMG 1927 is a light machine gun that was added in Call of Duty: WWII with the Shadow War update.
Multiplayer[]
Initially, the VMG and the Proto-X1 could only be obtained through the Wanderlust basic training, but following the Covert Storm event they were made available for selection in the Divisions.
Nazi Zombies[]
The VMG 1927 is available from the Mystery Box in all maps for 1,000 Jolts and from the Light Machine gun Waffenboxes in The Tortured Path for 4,250 Jolts. When upgraded either by the Ubersprengen or via the Freefire perk "MK. II" it becomes the 78 Deaths gaining an increased magazine size of 100, increased maximum reserve ammo of 600, increased damage and bullets have a chance to ignite enemies with continuous fire eventually leading to an explosion.
