The VTOL ("Vertical Take-Off and Landing") Jet is a Killstreak featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and a Killstreak and Scorestreak in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

The VTOL Jet is similar to Harrier Strike in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but consists of only a single AV-8B Harrier II jet which strikes the target with a rocket barrage and circles back to hover above the target. While hovering, it will shoot any nearby visible enemies and can be ordered to guard another location of the player's choice.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II[]

"Releases a pair of precision bombs before circling back and guarding a location of the player's choice."
— In-game description

The VTOL Jet returns in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II as both Killstreak and Scorestreak functioning similarly to the Modern Warfare version.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III[]

"Releases a pair of precision bombs before circling back and guarding a location of the player's choice."
— In-game description

The VTOL Jet returns in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III as both Killstreak and Scorestreak functioning identically to its Modern Warfare II version.
