For the similar pointstreak in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, see Osprey Gunner.
For the vehicle, see VTOL.

The VTOL Warship is a Scorestreak featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Call of Duty: Mobile. The scorestreak allows the player to take control of a VTOL Warship. It has similar appearance and usage as the Osprey Gunner from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II

"Be the gunner of a powerful VTOL Warship."
— Scorestreak description

The VTOL Warship is introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops II, requiring a scorestreak of 1600. Unlike Modern Warfare 3, the player can tell the pilot of the warship to maneuver around the map to attempt to get a better shot at enemy players, instead of just hovering over one single spot, and is able to switch between different HUDs, thermal and normal. Dual autocannons and rocket pods are available armaments. The Scorestreak reward is only available for a maximum of up to 55 seconds. It has 2 sets of flares, which means it requires 3 FHJ-18 AA or SMAW rockets to destroy it, or if the player is accurate enough, one RPG rocket is sufficient. Should a player destroy the VTOL Warship, the user controlling the scorestreak still has control of the weapons while the aircraft is going down. This aircraft has only two engines unlike the civilian/transport VTOLs from the campaign, and a complement of heavy weapons, such as miniguns with explosive rounds and missiles.

Call of Duty: Mobile

The VTOL Warship returns in Call of Duty: Mobile as the VTOL, once again requiring a scorestreak of 1600. Unlike in Black Ops II, the player controlling the VTOL cannot command the pilot to maneuver to a different spot at will, instead the pilot automatically maneuvers at specific times. The option of switching between different HUDs is also gone. Like the Stealth Chopper, this rendition has no flares, the aircraft simply takes 2 extra rockets, effectively still costing 3 lock on missiles to destroy it. It retains its armament of explosive autocannons and missile pods.
