Damaged Optical Camo Cloak[]

Damaged Optical Camo Cloak Black Ops III
"This active camouflage system, intended to [be] worn as an outer layer over body armor is coated with a Smart Meta-Material layer that actually causes the light falling on it to 'flow' around its surface, emerging on the opposite side traveling in the same direction that it started in, rather than bouncing back allowing the wearer to be detected."
— Entry description.
"Yet more state of the art CDP military technology in the hands of the 54 Immortals...

The operator could control the surface electronically, making themselves selectively invisible in either the visible spectrum or at IR wavelengths, rendering themselves invisible to heat based targeting systems. This one has been damaged, the control circuitry for the power regulators having taken gunfire. As a result, the meta-materials are altering their properties almost at random causing parts of the cloak to fade in and out, making it useless as camouflage but rendering it quite hypnotic to look at.

Bio-Luminescent Orchid[]

Bio-Luminescent Orchid Black Ops III
"The bio-luminescent orchid represents one of the first mass market consumer products based on bio-engineering."
— Entry description.
"A Moth Orchid (Phalaenopsis) had the genes that code for the production of Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP) commonly found in the Crystal Jelly (Aequorea Victoria) spliced into its genome. The gene expressed itself around the edges of the resultin plants [sic] petals, creating striking displays in the dark. Due to their limited availablility and extraordinary novelty the plants were incredibly popular when they were introduced, and commanded high prices changing hands for thousands of dollars. While the fad wore of [sic] quickly, many people still own these as symbols of aspirational wealth."

HC-XD Bomb Sniffer Robot[]

HC-XD Bomb Sniffer Robot Black Ops III
"This HC-XD (Hovering Controlled eXplosive Device) bomb disposal robot is based around a robot chassis currently being manufactured in large quantities for military use by the Winslow Accord and CDP."
— Entry description.
"The design is based around a now obsolete system (the RC-XD) manufactured by the Tacitus Corporation in the mid-2020s, and deployed by Special Forces. The explosive charge has been vastly reduced in size, intended to disrupt suspect packages and explosive devices, rather than inflict wide-sread injury or death. The additional space left from the reduction of the explosive payload has been filled with an array of chemical sniffers, intended to inform the operator of the proximity to a wide variety of explosives."
— Data Vault entry
"The shaped charge on that really won't pack much of a punch. Certainly wouldn't take down a G.I.U. You might want to just stick with your grenades."

Dragon Necklace[]

Dragon Necklace Black Ops III
"Carved from Jade, this ornately crafted necklace depicts a Chinese Dragon in flight; a potent symbol of wealth, courage and good fortune."
— Entry description.
"It most likely was made to commemorate the birth of Goh Min, former leader of the 54 Immortals, who was born in the Chinese year of the Snake, and given to his older sister Xuilan [sic] as a keepsake of her baby brother."
— Data Vault entry
"The Immortals take this ancestor thing pretty seriously. I'd keep that hidden 'till we're a long way off of their turf."
— Kane's analysis.
