Vests are a Create-A-Class feature in the Multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. Vests work similar to Perks and Wildcards. As the game doesn't feature traditional Tiered Perk categories, vests give the player a template loadout with additional bonus abilities on top of selectable perks and equipment. Different vests provided different restrictions and or benefits on what the player can use.

Infantry Vest Level 4 Increases Tac Sprint duration and reduces refresh time.
Duplicate effects do not stack. If equipped with Running Sneakers, gain the effects of Lightweight Boots.
Engineer Vest Level 10 Spot enemy equipment, Field Upgrades, and Killstreaks through walls. Aiming down sights highlights them for the team.
Faster Field Upgrade recharge.
Gunner Vest Level 20 Deploy with max ammo for all primary weapons and pistols.
Improved reload speed.
Duplicate effects do not stack. If equipped with Mag Holster, gain the effects of Mission Control Commlink.
Demolition Vest Level 30 Resupply Lethal and Tactical Equipment every 25 seconds.
CCT Comms Vest Level 40 Increases duration enemies stay on the minimap when firing unsilenced weapons, and zooms out minimap for you and nearby allies.
Enemies you kill drop intel packs, which generate a radar ping for you and nearby allies when collected.
You and nearby allies see nearby ally radar pings from Data Jacker and compass indicators from nearby ally Signal Jammers.
Duplicate effects do not stack. If equipped with Data Jacker, gain the effects of Mission Comlink.
Overkill Vest Level 50 Increased weapon swap speed by a minimum of 40% (swap speed bonus differs between weapons).
Reload while sprinting.
Allows equipping Secondary weapons in the Primary slot.
Duplicate effects do not stack. If equipped with Quick-Grip Gloves, or Commando Gloves, gain the effects of Marksman Gloves.
Assassin Vest Via Armory Unlocks Kills don’t display skulls.
Immune to UAV and enemy radar effects (including while stationary).
Duplicate effects do not stack. If equipped with Ghost T/V Camo, gain the effects of Hijacked IFF Strobe.
Ninja Vest Via Armory Unlocks Eliminate footstep sounds.
Immune to movement reduction effects.
Bonus Throwing Star and Throwing Knife ammo.
Resupply Throwing Stars and Throwing Knives every 25s.
Duplicate effects do not stack. If equipped with Covert Sneakers or Reinforced Boots, gain the effects of Running Sneakers.
Gunslinger Vest Via Armory Unlocks Secondary weapons only.
Refreshes stamina after a Primary, Secondary, or Throwing Knife/Star kill.
Improved reload speed.
Reload while sprinting.
Increases weapon swap speed by a minimum of 40% (swap speed bonus differs between weapons).
Deply with max ammo for all pistols.
Duplicate effects do not stack. If equipped with Quick-Grip Gloves or Commando Gloves, gain the effects of Marksman Gloves. If equipped with Mag Holster gain the effects of Mission Control Comlink.
Modular Assault Rig Via Armory Unlocks Deploy with max ammo for all primary weapons and pistols.
Resupply Lethals and Tacticals from dead players.
Compression Carrier Via Armory Unlocks Immediately regen health after a Primary, Secondary, or Throwing Knife/Star kill. Objective captures also trigger health regen.
Reduces strength of enemy flash, stun, and gas grenades.
Immunity to shock, EMP, and Snapshot Grenades.
Duplicate effects do not stack. If equipped with Tac Mask, gain the effects of EOD Padding.
Mission Control Vest Via Armory Unlocks Reduces kills required by 1 and score required by 125 for streaks.
Earn 1 kill or 125 score for every 2 Kill Assists or Cross Fire Assists.
Duplicate effects do not stack. If equipped with Mission Control Comlink, gain the effects of High Gain Antenna.
