Vital is a weapon proficiency in Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone available for the STG44, ITRA Burst, Cooper Carbine, Type 100, Combat Shotgun, Double Barrel, M1 Garand, SVT-40, M1916, Type 99, and 1911. It increases the area of which bullets can do the same amount of damage on an enemy as a headshot, however, this is not the case when paired against larger-caliber ammunition.
In Call of Duty: Warzone, it increases torso damage rather than the area for critical hit damage, but increases overall recoil and reduces accuracy.
