Lieutenant Volker was a crew chief on the Sea Knight Helicopter, Outlaw 2-5, seen in the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare mission "Shock and Awe".
Biography
He is seen at the end of the helicopter supervising the Marines out of it and covering them with an M9 (sometimes he will use an M1911). Due to the last minute rescue of a Cobra pilot, he is killed when the nuclear bomb explodes. The bomb's shock wave causes the helicopter to spin uncontrollably and he is hurled out of the helicopter from the force. He is one of the 30,000 who died in the events of "Shock and Awe".

Trivia
- Volker is used as the default character model for air support pilots throughout Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and in some places in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
- Volker's name is also a randomly generated name for Marines and a Cpl. Volker can be seen in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with Hunter 2-1.
- On his helmet there is a sticker that says "Heavy Duty".
- He was named after Infinity Ward staff member, Zach Volker.
- His death can be seen during the starting promo for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
- If the player gets to the sea knight after rescuing Pelayo before the rest of Lt.Vasquez's squad reaches it, sometimes they won't get on. If this happens, when the sea knight starts to crash, Volker won't be thrown out.
