Vondel is a city in the Netherlands in Europe featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. In Modern Warfare II, Vondel serves as battleground for some multiplayer maps and in Warzone 2.0, Vondel is a map designed for Battle Royale, Resurgence and DMZ.
Vondel was released on June 14th, 2023 as part of the Season Four for Modern Warfare II. A horror themed version of the map taking place during the night and called Vondead was released on October 20th, 2023 as part of The Haunting event during the Season Six of Modern Warfare II.
On October 3rd, 2024, the night-time version of Vondel returned, now named Vondel Night now featured a moon shadow cast making the map filled in darkness, was released as part of The Haunting event during the Season Six of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
Following the Season One update of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Vondel will be removed from the Resurgence mode. The map will remain in the DMZ mode.

- In the electronic store next to the University, the player can find a TV package, which features an image of the map Winter Docks from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
- In the Aquarium, if the player stands nears the fish tank long enough, they will see the fish forming the face of Simon "Ghost" Riley.[2]
