The Warthog is obtained upon accumulating 1400 points in score. It features an A-10 Thunderbolt II strafing back and forth across the map to provide close air support. It uses its 30mm Avenger cannon and rocket pods to dispatch large enemy forces, similarly to the Strafe Run in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. However, unlike the Strafe Run, it is much faster, uses explosive rounds, and is harder to shoot down due to the speed at which it moves across the map (it is possible to shoot it down, but it has two sets of flares, requiring three missiles, but its movement speed makes lock-on difficult, and sometimes missiles can even hit buildings or terrain). There is a high chance of getting multiple kills if enough players are exposed, although on Hardcore it can result in multiple teamkills and suicides on close quarters maps. The duration of the strafe run depends on the map's size, with bigger area meaning longer strafe runs.
