WeaponKit Menu BO4

Menu in Black Ops 4.

Weapon Kits, also known as Weapon Build Kits and Zombies Builds, are a feature in the Zombies mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the Zombies mode of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and the Nazi Zombies mode of Call of Duty: WWII.

Overview[]

Weapon Kits allows the player to customize most weapons with attachments and camouflages, in addition to features exclusive to specific games such as paintjobs in Black Ops III, and prototype weapons in Infinite Warfare. Weapon Kits mean that if a specific weapon is received from any method, the Weapon Kit customization will be used for that, allowing for specifically tweaked weaponry. Attachment slots are unlocked via the Weapon Level system, with attachments being unlocked in the same method.

Within Black Ops III, not all weapons that were added through the update were added to the Weapon Kit system, while the systems in the future titles had their additional weapons added to the system.

Weapon Kits did not return in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, however, as part of the Season Two Reloaded update on March 29th, 2021, players were able to apply any weapon blueprint setups they have on their currently equipped weapon; this feature extends to custom blueprints.

Weapon Kits return in Black Ops 6 as Zombie Builds. Similar to Weapon Kits from past titles, Zombie Builds allow players to assign specific weapon setups to any weapon they have unlocked before starting a match, allowing said weapon to spawn with the desired setup in-game.
