The Werewolf is a Heavy Class Zombie featured in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies map Dead of the Night. They later appear in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as a mini-boss within Dead Ops Arcade 3: Rise of the Mamaback.

Overview[]

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4[]

Functioning as the Heavy Class enemy for the map, Werewolves will start to naturally spawn in at Wave 15. [source needed] A singular Werewolf however will always spawn upon the opening of the Forest area, denoted with a unique howl coming from the forest itself.

Much like other Heavy class Zombies, they have a multitude of attacks. Their close range claw swipe can deal upwards of 75 health of damage per swing and is often followed up by their pounce attack or another swipe. The pounce itself functions as a simple area-of-affect attack to regain positioning as the damage profile is weak. If players are out of distance, they will drop onto their paws and start to chase at high speeds to regain proximity. Werewolves also produce a screen shake effect to nearby players when they are nearby.

After enough damage has been dealt to the Werewolf, it will stumble back before taking a moment and howling.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War[]

A Werewolf functions as the mini-boss for the Volcano. Functioning similarly to how it does within Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 however now being easier to flinch and the howl summoning a Lightning Hound upon doing so alongside healing the Werewolf.
