Private Willhelm was a rifleman of Fox Company of 2nd Battalion who fought in the Battle of Piano Lupo.
He took a defensive position in a captured bunker with Pvt. Dean, firing off many rounds at Italian and German troops. He and Dean were killed when the bunker was destroyed by an enemy Fiat tank
