- For enemies with a similar name, see Dire Wolves.
Wolves appear in Call of Duty: Ghosts, Call of Duty: WWII, and Call of Duty: Mobile. In Ghosts, they appear in No Man's Land, in WWII in the cutscenes of Stronghold and Epilogue, and in Call of Duty: Mobile in the Comics.
Call of Duty: Ghosts[]
Several wolves appear after Logan, Hesh and Riley observe Rorke's preparations for Operation Homecoming. Somewhere in the woods, Riley ran ahead and began to bark at something unknown. When Hesh and Logan arrive, a pack of wolves approach the team from several angles. One of the wolves charges at Logan and tries to go for his throat. Logan holds on long enough for Riley to attack the wolf. The two briefly fight, but then the wolf gains the upper hand and nearly injures him. Logan then grabs a P226, that was lying near, and kills the wolf before it could finish off Riley. The rest of the wolf pack surrounds them, but Logan is out of bullets. One of the wolves charges Logan, but Merrick leaps over him, tackles the wolf and draws his pistol to shoot at the retreating pack.
In Multiplayer, the wolf skin is available as a DLC for the Guard Dog for $1.99; it was released for the Xbox consoles on December 12th, 2013 and January 14th, 2014 on PC and PlayStations in North America and on January 15th, 2014 on PlayStations in Europe. Also, the Field Order reward on the Nemesis DLC map Goldrush allows the player to call in a pack of wolves.
Call of Duty: WWII[]
