The X52 Resonator is a special weapon featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. It was added on October 16th, 2025 as part of the Season Six update.

The X52 Resonator was added during Season Six as one of the rewards for the Echoes of the Dead event. After the end of the event, it was added to the Armory, where it can be unlocked after earning a total of 250,000 XP with the weapon selected.

The X52 Resonator has no Wall Buy locations, however it can be found in any map and in the majority of rarities via the Mystery Box for 950 Essence or one can be brought as the starting weapon via the Loadout system, but at Common rarity.
When upgraded either by the Pack-a-Punch Machine or via Aetherium Crystals, it becomes the Cosmic Harbinger. The Cosmic Harbinger gains increased damage and an increased reserve capacity of 400. With no Shard attachments or any Shard attachment, excluding the Stone Escalation Shard, the magazine capacity will be increased to 100. However, with the Stone Escalation Shard equipped, the magazine capacity is increased to 14.

Trivia[]
- Due to its unusual appearance and characteristics, fans speculated the X52 Resonator may have originally been intended to be a Wonder Weapon, specifically for the map Shattered Veil, citing its attachment variations similarity to the Ray Gun Mark II and its variants within the map. Treyarch eventually dismissed this claim, explaining that the X52 was conceptualized and developed following Shattered Veil's release.[1]
