The Yemeni Militia is a faction in Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

They are a Middle-Eastern-based insurgent group that was formed by Cordis Die. In the campaign, their only physical appearance is in the mission "Achilles' Veil", where they serve as the main antagonistic faction. Their other, non-gameplay appearance in the campaign is in Cordis Die, where they are present in the intro of when the presidential transport is shot down. They also appear in multiplayer facing SEAL Team Six on the map Turbine and the ISA on maps Yemen, Overflow, Meltdown, Hydro, Vertigo, Cove, and Dig

  • The sub-machine gunner wears the same outfit as Farid in "Achilles' Veil".
  • The spawn theme for this faction sounds very similar to the Spetsnaz spawn theme from Modern Warfare 2, albeit quieter and less dramatic.
  • Depending on the map, Yemeni militiamen accordingly have different clothing or camouflage than normally seen. (comparatively like the SEALs or Mercs on snow maps)
