Doctor Yousef Salim[1] is a character in Call of Duty: Black Ops III. Dr. Salim was interrogated by Jacob Hendricks on the CIA's illegal experiments on a black ops project.

Biography

Yousef Salim was born in 2001, in Cairo, Egypt. Salim became a doctor and worked for the Coalescence Corporation. Dr. Salim was a part of Coalescence's illegal experiments on soldiers, which was led by Sebastian Krueger. Dr. Salim worked as an psychotherapist on patients to find them comfort from the experiments' effects that made them emotionally unstable.

Dr. Salim concluded on making the "Frozen Forest", a mind plant to calm soldiers. After the Singapore Disaster that took 300,000 people, Salim's status was unknown. As a result of the disaster, the AI Corvus survived and infected Commander John Taylor and his team.

Events of Black Ops III

Dr. Salim was captured by the Egyptian Army. Interrogated by Winslow Accord Agent Jacob Hendricks, the NRC attack the Egyptian Army. Dr. Salim is later captured by Taylor, Maretti and Hall for interrogation. During this interrogation, Salim reveals of what he did for the project, and that Krueger was leading the illegal experiments. Taylor thanked Dr. Salim, as the latter was executed by the Commander.

Reality

In reality, the Player died of surgical complications. Dr. Salim was killed by rogue Agent Dylan Stone, who was killed during the lengthy manhunt by Hendricks.
