The Zakhaev Airport Security were the first police faction to appear in the Call of Duty series. In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, they are the first responders to the airport massacre by the Inner Circle. They were armed with pistols and SMGs. During the massacre, a majority of them attempted to defend the civilians in the food court area, but they were quickly mowed down. Three of them tried to counter-attack the terrorists, only to get killed when Vladimir Makarov threw a grenade into the elevator.
A few late arrivals to the scene found Yuri, Makarov's ex-right hand man, and managed to keep him alive after a fatal gunshot wound.

- In the Modern Warfare 2 Reveal Trailer, the Airport Security can briefly be seen in the level The Enemy of My Enemy where they appear to be have been used as placeholders for Makarov's men.
