A Zeppelin was a type of rigid airship named after German Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin, the creator of the zeppelin. They were used by the German Empire during World War I. Zeppelins are featured in the Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Call of Duty: Black Ops III and Call of Duty: WWII.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II & Black Ops III[]

The Zeppelin is seen in the Zombies map Origins of the Apocalypse map pack in Call of Duty: Black Ops II and the Zombies Chronicles expansion pack in Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

A very brief appearance is also made in Der Eisendrache, where one variant of posters scattered within the map features a Zeppelin appearing in the sky, above what appears to be the city beneath the castle.

Call of Duty: WWII[]

In the Nazi Zombies map The Final Reich, A Zeppelin airship used by Heinz Richter is seen during both the casual and hardcore quests. It acts as a hazard towards both the players and the zombies, in which it will fire a bolt of Geistkraft that can cause high damage. The Panzermörder destroys the Zeppelin after it is defeated by the player[s].

Zeppelins also appear in the Dogfight mode in Multiplayer on the maps Egyptian Sands and Crimean Mountains.

In The Resistance DLC map The Darkest Shore, Zeppelins used by Peter Straub's army are seen during the ending cinematic of the main quest. The Zeppelins also play a major role in the Nazi Zombies chapter The Shadowed Throne.

In The Shadow War DLC map Airship, Multiple Zeppelins can be seen and one can be entered
