Zero-Gravity, or sometimes known as Low-Gravity, is a movement mechanic that appears in Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3Call of Duty: Ghosts, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

Overview[]

In Black Ops, the Zombies map Moon contains low-gravity elements over the course of the map.

During the mission Turbulence in Modern Warfare 3, it contains a sequence in which zero-gravity combat occurs.

In Ghosts, the second part of the campaign mission Ghost Stories and the entirety of Loki involves zero-gravity combat and movement, inside a space station and Earth's orbit.

In Black Ops III, Zero-Gravity is featured in the Zombies maps, Der Eisendrache and Moon.

Within Infinite Warfare, Zero-gravity combat and movement plays a crucial role in most of the campaign. With much more freedom than in Call of Duty: Ghosts, the player can float or grapple onto any space, rock, etc. Equipment, such as grenades, may be used or thrown, although the velocity will be much reduced. Depth is controlled using the jump and crouch buttons.

In Modern Warfare II and Modern Warfare III, Zero-Gravity is featured during the limited-time multiplayer mode, Havoc, in which it can be activated after accumulating a certain amount of kills.
