射线枪Ray Gun),又译激光枪,是《使命召唤:战争世界》《使命召唤:黑色行动》《使命召唤:黑色行动II》《使命召唤Online》《使命召唤:黑色行动III》《使命召唤:黑色行动4》《使命召唤手游》《使命召唤:黑色行动冷战》《使命召唤:先锋》《使命召唤:现代战争III 2023》和《使命召唤:战争地带2.0》的奇迹武器。射线枪在历代作品的僵尸模式中频繁出现,已经成为了僵尸模式的标志性特色之一,且在不同的地图上有着不同的特效和使用动作。《黑色行动II》中推出了射线枪的改进版本射线枪二型,玩家下载复仇资料包后便可在游戏内使用该武器。《黑色行动III》中推出了射线枪的另一个改进版本射线枪三型,在血狱之城地图中,GKZ-45 Mk3便是左手持GKZ-45,右手持射线枪三型搭配使用的奇迹武器。

使命召唤:战争世界[]

僵尸模式[]

射线枪出现在《使命召唤:战争世界僵尸模式的全部地图中,玩家只能从魔法盒中获取该武器。得益于拥有高伤害和相对充足的弹药量,射线枪是玩家非常青睐的武器之一,能在第18-22回合之前一击秒杀僵尸,强化后能一击秒杀僵尸的回合上限变为大约第22-25回合。由于射线有着溅射伤害,射线枪能同时打击多个僵尸,但是这个溅射也会伤害到玩家本身,甚至导致玩家在糟糕的位置倒地。射线枪的精确度很高,但射线的弹速较慢,玩家瞄准时要注意打出的射线经过一定时间后才会命中目标。在第22回合后射线枪便无法一击秒杀僵尸,常常只能把僵尸的腿打断,到游戏后期射线枪实用性会逐渐降低。射线枪的射速较慢,搭配双塞麦根啤酒可以有效提升火力输出,但可能会增加枪法不佳的玩家的弹药消耗量。不同于其它武器在弹匣插入枪身时便可通过取消换弹结束多余动作,射线枪换弹是在关上枪管后,听到独特的失真音效时才装上弹药,因此在电池刚装入枪管时提早取消换弹会导致射线枪换弹失败,可能会让玩家处于危险之中,而搭配快手可乐也可缓解这个问题,它可以显著缩短射线枪原本长达3秒的换弹时间。

战役[]

射线枪作为彩蛋武器出现在单人战役任务零星抵抗中。要获得射线枪,玩家要在第一次呼叫炮击后,依次进入海滩最右侧、正中央和左侧的小水坑,并在左侧的小水坑中等待约10秒,随后地面会开始晃动,玩家能听见一段类似日语的说话声(实际是一段日军士兵语音的倒放[1]),水坑前方会升起四个石狮子,它们嘴中都叼着射线枪,此时玩家可以通过与石狮子互动获得射线枪。射线枪可以无限领取,玩家可以随时回到石狮子处补给弹药。

拿着呼叫炮击的无线电领取射线枪时,射线枪不会替换掉玩家已有的枪,而是变成第三把枪,但这么做将无法再呼叫炮击支援。有一个小技巧可以做到二者兼得,玩家呼叫炮击后,在收起无线电之前马上领取射线枪,这样玩家可以持有三把枪并保留炮击支援。这之后如果玩家将射线枪更换为其他手中没有的武器,可以再次使用这个小技巧,从而持有更多的枪。

在本关末尾攻击坦克的环节中,射线枪两枪就能摧毁坦克,比常规玩法呼叫炮击轰炸坦克要快很多。此外,射线枪造成的溅射爆炸能弹开尸体,让尸体出现抽搐的效果。

使命召唤:黑色行动[]

射线枪在《使命召唤:黑色行动》的僵尸模式中回归,出现在僵尸模式所有地图中,依然有着接近前作的超强威力(在大约第15-16回合前能一击秒杀僵尸),但从第18回合起很容易打出断腿僵尸而不是将其秒杀,虽然在回合末期时这个功能很有用,但可能会导致玩家不小心被断腿僵尸挡住去路,波特的X2射线枪(强化版后的射线枪)则是从第23回合起容易打出断腿僵尸。射线枪击杀僵尸仅奖励玩家50分,在游戏前期使用射线枪可能会难以积攒经济。

同其他奇迹武器一样,用射线枪击杀毒气僵尸可以阻止其尸体爆出毒气。

第30回合往后射线枪面对僵尸越来越无力,即使是强化版的射线枪,也往往要数发射线才能击杀一只僵尸。同时,如果玩家距离僵尸过近,射线的溅射伤害会伤到玩家自己,除非玩家拥有飞扑专家,该特长能免疫所有自伤,玩家被僵尸包围时甚至可以用射线枪往脚下开火来自救。

Dr. Vannevar Bush账号中的文件显示,射线枪的设计图来源于旭日基地935小组路德维希·马克西斯博士里取得设计图后将其制造出来。射线枪结合了115元素和冷核聚变技术,通过两颗“冷核聚变电池”为武器供能。

射线枪的操作动作与前作《使命召唤:战争世界》中一致,玩家手持射线枪飞扑时会做出类似于举枪瞄准的姿势,区别是此时武器位于屏幕的底部。此外,玩家强化手中其它武器时,射线枪的准星颜色会在红、绿、紫、白、黄或蓝色之间随机变化。

上升这张地图中,射线枪可用于摧毁发射中的火箭,玩家可借此获得一个成就/奖杯,火箭发射台底部还会刷新一个双倍分数奖励。

Call of Duty: Zombies[]

The Ray Gun also makes an appearance in the Call of Duty: Zombies application for the iOS, with a few differences from its counterpart on the consoles. It causes no splash damage to the user and loses its one-shot-kill ability earlier (compared to Call of Duty: World at War), at round 17 for Verrückt and Nacht der Untoten, and round 20 for Der Riese and Shi No Numa. Along with these differences, it is not fully automatic on the iOS version. Obtaining it on the iOS version gives the player the "Space Man" achievement, and using it to kill 100 zombies gives the player the "Laser Face" achievement. It also causes no aesthetic damage to zombies, and cannot make crawlers.

The cancel time for reloading has been extended to the time when the player closes the battery outlet.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies[]

The Ray Gun returns in Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies. It was not released with the game but an update added the Ray Gun on February 2. It can be found in the Mystery Box on Kino der Toten, Ascension, Call of the Dead, or in Dead Ops Arcade as a power-up. It has many of the same features of the Ray Gun in Call of Duty: Zombies, the only differences is that in this game, the Ray Gun is not as well textured and the reticle is black instead of changing colors or red. One similarity is that the Ray Gun is not fully automatic in both games.

The cancel reload time is the same as the previous game.

从魔法盒中抽出射线枪时可以听到一声短小的吉他音效。

在迁徙、死亡高楼和埋葬,玩家购买奥林匹亚并多次购买其弹药后,可以在奥林匹亚购买点获得射线枪。该特性仅在玩家等级低于交叉骨头,且进行离线/单人游戏时才有效,在第12回合时该特性会自动失效。

在活死人的暴动,玩家获得射线枪并上膛时,可以听到一声机械的声音特效。此外,在射线枪弹药耗尽时扣动扳机射击,武器会发出嘟嘟声。

使命召唤:黑色行动III[]

The Ray Gun returns in Call of Duty: Black Ops III. It can be found in Shadows of Evil, Dead Ops Arcade 2: Cyber's Avengening, The Giant, Der Eisendrache, Zetsubou No Shima, Gorod Krovi and Revelations, as well as all remastered maps in Zombies Chronicles. The Ray Gun has a different reload animation, as the cold cell batteries are now put in one by one, rather than two at the same time. Also, the rays seem to have more impact, shaking the screen upon hitting the ground. When aiming down the gun's sight, like in Call of Duty: Black Ops II the front sight is higher than the bar on the back. The Ray Gun cannot be Pack-a-Punched twice to receive an upgrade module. The rays have a different appearance as they have more of an acidic look (much like the colour of the Acid Gat Kit and Acid Gat). Also, the reticle on the sight is a creamy pink color rather than the red featured in most of the past games.

In Dead Ops Arcade 2, it acts similarly to the Dead Ops Arcade version but the rays do not bounce off walls.

The Ray Gun appears in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 in Zombies (exclusively on the Aether storyline maps) and in Blackout. It is also given to Recon during his Specialist HQ mission when waves of zombies and a Blightfather appear.

The reload animation has been modified, making it significantly slower than its earlier iterations. The rays themselves are also slightly thinner and smaller. Because of this more accuracy is needed while aiming than with previous incarnations. However, the Ray Gun deals additional damage with headshots and still retains splash damage, offsetting the changes. It also has a new inspect animation that can be seen in Specialist HQ and Blackout.

The Ray Gun makes another appearance in Call of Duty Online, in the Cyborg Rising game mode and in the multiplayer mode Ray Gun Only. In Cyborg Rising, it can only be used by one player at a time.

The RayGun returns in the Zombies mode of Call of Duty: Mobile. It was initially added with the Season 2 update with the introduction of Zombies mode in November 25, 2019, and removed along with the mode on March 25, 2020 in the Season 4 update. Later, in the Season 11: Final Snow update on December 17, 2021, the RayGun was added in Undead Siege mode, and removed alongside this mode following Season 5: Tropical Vision. The RayGun was eventually re-added on October 13, 2022 with the return of Zombies Classic in the Season 9: Zombies Are Back update.

Undead Siege[]

The RayGun is one of the two new legendary ground-loot weapons, exclusively found in Turbine and Factory, with a low chance to spawn on Day 2 and an almost-guaranteed spawn on Day 3 in either location.

The RayGun can be Pack-A-Punched up to 5 times, increasing the possible magazine capacity up to 56 (granted the user has their Weapon Damage Talent at level 10 or higher). Like all other weapons, it does not receive any physical changes upon being Pack-A-Punched. Like most iterations, the RayGun performs best when targeting crowds of enemies, though some groups of enemies (such as Wardens) can withstand such attacks, and as such, the RayGun lacks the power to eliminate heavier targets, such as the Heavy Gunner, with its damage profile against heavier enemies almost being pitiful compared to weapons like Pack-A-Punched shotguns.

The Ray Gun returns in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies, appearing with the Wonder Weapon exclusive Ultra Rarity. It is available on all maps from the Mystery Box for 950 Essence. It can also be found in Die Maschine as a reward from the "Coffin Dance" side quest as well as a drop in Outbreak from Ronald Raygun, Orda, or a Megaton. Like in Black Ops 4, the Ray Gun now deals an immense amount of headshot damage via very high damage multipliers, making up for the slow reload speed and less splash damage. Coupled with triple Pack-a-Punching, the Ray Gun can be a very viable weapon even into late rounds.

It also appears in Dead Ops Arcade 3: Rise of the Mamaback, functioning much like its counterpart in prior Dead Ops Arcade entries.

Multiplayer[]

In multiplayer, the Ray Gun is available to use in the limited time Vortex game mode. One spawns in for one player to use during the match, and it is passed onto the player who kills the player holding the Ray Gun currently. If the holder dies through means where no player is credited for killing them, the gun respawns in the middle of the map. The player holding the Ray Gun is represented on the map as a gold Ray Gun, and when no one has the weapon its location on the map is represented as a white Ray Gun.

It has high damage, usually killing in one shot, but contrary to the loading screen information that states it is always a one-hit kill it is possible to end up only damaging a target if they are only hit by a small amount of splash damage.

The spawn locations are as follows:

  • Sporeyard - In the building that has the number "2" on it, next to the radio tower on the side of the map.

The Ray Gun can also be found in the map, Operation Tin Man, in which the player must do some parkour while in the lab to reach a room that is out of bounds. From there, the player must quickly grab the Ray Gun and can use it during the match.

Zombies[]

In Zombies, it appears with the Wonder Weapon exclusive Ultra Rarity. It is available from the Mystery Box for 950 Essence. A Ray Gun can also be built within the schematics menu.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0[]

During the release of Season Two of Modern Warfare III with the Horde Hunt event, the Ray Gun, alongside other Zombie related items were added to Fortune's Keep. The Ray Gun can be found via opening Supply Caches, completing the Eradication Contract and completing the Rouge Signal Public Event. A guaranteed Ray Gun also spawns in the Ground Zero POI, which can be acquired by completing the Hazard Room Easter Egg.

Porter's X2 Ray Gun[]

When Pack-a-Punched via the Pack-a-Punch Machine, the Ray Gun becomes the Porter's X2 Ray Gun. With the upgraded version, the magazine capacity is doubled, the reserve ammo is increased from 160 to 200, it gets extra damage through damage multipliers, it shoots red-orange rays instead of green, and the splash damage is reduced. Also, should a player get downed with a Porter's X2 Ray Gun, they will have a larger amount of ammo to cover teammates.

The Porter's X2 Ray Gun gets its name from H. Porter, the scientist that was working on the next Ray Gun model. He was trying to reduce its peripheral damage and apparently succeeded if the Porter's X2 Ray Gun is genuinely the second generation model he created. H. Porter is a reference to Max Porter, the programmer that created the Ray Gun.

General[]

  • There appears to be a writing on the back of the gun next to the "handles". On the left side it says "220 V~", while on the right side it says ~V 022.
  • H. Porter invented the Porter's X2 Ray Gun and also made the Porter's X2 Zap Gun.
    • The real life story behind the naming of the Porter's X2 Ray Gun is that Treyarch weapon artist, Max Porter, came up with the weapon as a side project.
  • The batteries read "Atomic Cold Cells".
  • In the German versions of Call of Duty: World at War and Call of Duty: Black Ops, the Ray Gun is named "Beam Cannon".
  • In the Polish versions of Call Of Duty, the Ray Gun is named "Blaster".
  • When the Ray Gun is shot, the player is pushed backwards.
  • Upon picking up the Ray Gun from the Mystery Box in several maps, a small guitar riff heard by everyone in the game will play.
  • On the upgraded version of the weapon, an "Atom Smasher" logo can be seen.
  • Prior to Call of Duty: Black Ops III, the draw animation for the Ray Gun had no sound effect with the exception of Mob of the Dead.
  • The Ray Gun's iron sights have always differed in some way between games:
    • In World at War, the iron sights are the default.
    • In Black Ops, the front sight on the Ray Gun will switch in color every time the player upgrades a different weapon.
    • In Black Ops II, the front sight is taller, extending above the cog shaped mechanism that previously surrounded the front sight. It does not change color like it does in Black Ops.
    • In the Ray Gun Only mode in Call of Duty Online, the front sight is missing all together and is just replaced with the hipfire reticle.

  • When the player lowers gravity and shoots the Ray Gun at the player's feet, they will be pushed up into the air.
  • When used on "Little Resistance", the player can shoot a dead Imperial Japanese Army soldier and after a couple seconds, the corpse will be distorted.
  • In "Little Resistance", the Ray Gun can destroy a tank with two shots.
  • Since there is no zombies mode on the Wii version, the Ray Gun is unavailable on Little Resistance.
  • The designer of the Ray Gun, Jesse Snyder, was almost fired by Treyarch when he put the Ray Gun as an easter egg in the level "Little Resistance" without consulting other developers.[2]

  • With the use of a Persistent Upgrade in Buried, it is possible to obtain a Ray Gun off the wall from Olympia's purchase spot. The player needs to have a rank of two or lower, and needs to purchase the Olympia, then purchase its ammo thrice. The next time the player purchases ammo for the Olympia, the Ray Gun replaces it.
  • When the Ray Gun is fired, the cog shaped mechanism behind the Ray Gun will rotate.
  • In the multiplayer map, Studio, in the large trailer are some images that shows dual wield Ray Guns, a Sliquifier, a Vector K10 with a large scope and the Ray Gun Mark II.
  • When playing as Albert "Weasel" Arlington from Mob of the Dead, the player can notice Weasel's left hand under the ray gun, almost like if he was holding it two handed (which other players can access the weapon only with one-hand).
  • In Mob of the Dead, if the Ray Gun runs out of ammo and the player attempts to shoot it, a beeping noise plays and can be heard, loudly, anywhere on the map.
  • The Ray Gun receives a re-texture in Buried, sporting a more solid, glossy red body similar to the Ray Gun Mark II; the red, amber, and green meter on the side of the gun is more colored. It also gains a dark pistol grip, the neutron symbol on the top of the gun glows green and the cold-cell housing compartment on the upper receiver of the weapon will glow green instead of blue. When Pack-a-Punched, the window will glow red. This carries over to Origins.
  • The player can actually see their left hand while holding the Ray Gun. The hand itself, which is empty, can be seen by setting a high sensitivity and quickly looking down, or by setting a high field of view on PC.

  • Unlike in past games, it is impossible to see the player's left hand while holding the Ray Gun, even when setting the field of view on PC to the highest value.
  • When moving with the Ray Gun, the player's view model does not bob around, as opposed to previous games.
  • In Der Eisendrache, the Ray Gun is obtainable via Gondola, although it is relatively rare.
  • The Ray Gun has the words "Blast-O-Matic" written on the left side.
  • Compared to previous versions of the Ray Gun, shooting it close to the player now causes a noticable amount of screen shake, and the "splash" effect from shots is more pronounced.

  • The Ray Gun was originally customisable in the Armory, as seen in the August 2018 build of Zombies. It was removed for unknown reasons. The description states, "A powerful weapon from a different time - and universe."

  • The "Jet Blast" emote involves the playable character firing dual-wielded Ray Guns.
